Fasting & Prayer - Day 13 - Filled to Overflowing

Filled to Overflowing - Today's Theme.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

In fact Lord, please prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  

Because I too was Your enemy and that made me hungry.  

As I hungered and thirsted after righteousness - 

how to be made right with You - 

You ran to me with loving arms wide open.  

You didn't condemn me, 

tell me to shape up 

or even try harder.  

Instead You sacrificed a Lamb 

and then sat me down to a full table and You fed me!  

You reminded me 

I am dead to sin.

  Sure, it will take time for the 

seed of enmity You've planted in my heart 

to grow 

to eclipse all the sin that's there.  

To quell my anxious heart 

You promised that 

You will be faithful to 

complete that good work You've begun in my life.  

And I know 

You are not a man so 

You CANNOT lie!  

Hallelujah!  

Jesus is MINE!

This day, You have filled me to overflowing!  

Now cause me to be a generous server of Bread to my enemies.
